Enhanced Program for Graduate Study

Each year BICMR hosts the Enhanced Program for Graduate Study in spring semester. The program offers four advanced courses in a broad variety of mathematical fields, taught by top experts in their research fields. Each course covers both introductory level and research related materials, which helps the students enhance their mathematical background and get involved in some basic mathematical research.

The program is mainly designed for undergraduate students in the 3rd and 4th years as well as graduate students in the 1st and 2nd years. To participate in this program,  students can check our latest announcement online and follow the application process. We also accept applications from nominations by experts in related fields. Our committees are responsible for choosing the qualified students to join in the program.

We provide accommodation and some financial support to students participating in this program, and the tuition is free. During the program, students can also attend academic activities such as seminars and other math courses in BICMR and the School of Mathematical Science of Peking University.

At the end of the program, a certificate will be issued to students who have passed exams.
