Abstract: I will discuss the existence of extremal Kahler metrics and the behavior of the K energy on the admissible manifolds studied by Apostolov, Calderbank, Gauduchon and T. Friedman. In particular, I will give an example where the K energy is bounded from below but not proper on an admissible Kahler class.
