ABSTRACT
In 2009, Pasquier classified a special class of two-orbits varieties; each variety in this class is either horospherical or isomorphic to one of two exceptional varieties. In each horospherical case, the automorphism group is not reductive, and hence there are no Kähler-Einstein metrics. In this talk, I will show the existence of Kähler-Einstein metrics in the remaining two cases and discuss some related problems.

BRIEF BIO
Akihiro Kanemitsu is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Kyoto university. Kanemitsu received his PhD from the University of Tokyo under the supervision of Professor Hiromichi Takagi. His research interests lie in the geometry of Fano varieties. In particular, his recent works focus on the geometry of vector bundles, or more specifically tangent bundles on Fano varieties.
