Abstract: We shall study a generalized prescribing curvature problem on S^n when the order of derivative is higher than the dimension (One dimensional affine curvature problem and the prescribing Q-curvature problem on S^3 are two special cases). The reversed Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality enable us to obtain existence result for antipodally symmetric function. Similar results for the classical prescribing curvature problem was obtained by Moser (for n=2), Escobar and Schoen (for n>2 with suitable flatness condition on curvature function).
