Title: A new mass for asymptotically flat manifolds

Abstract: In this talk, I will report our recent work on the Gauss-Bonnet-Chern mass for asymptotically flat manifolds. For this mass we obtained a positive mass theorem and a Penrose type inequality for a special class of AF manifolds. This work opens many interesting geometric problems. (This is a joint work with Ge Yuxin (Paris) and Wu Jie (Freiburg, Hefei))
