Summer School on Propagation of Chaos in Analysis and Probability
Time: August 5 - August 9, 2024
Venue: Lecture Hall, Jiayibing Building, Jingchunyuan 82, BICMR
Welcome to our Summer School on the dynamics and emergent behavior of large systems of interacting particles and their limiting systems. Throughout this program, you'll engage in mini-courses led by esteemed experts, focusing on propagation of chaos, mean-field limit, and the study of McKean-Vlasov SDEs or distribution-dependent SDEs. In addition to the mini-courses, we will also arrange several research talks associated with the topics covered, providing further insights and opportunities for discussion and collaboration.
Our goal is to enhance communication among researchers from various backgrounds, including Analysis, Probability, Dynamical Systems, and Scientific Computations. By fostering dialogue and collaboration, we aim to deepen our understanding of the current state of this field and inspire the exploration of more profound questions.
Four Mini-Courses given by
1) Feng-Yu Wang (Tianjin University):
Title: Regularity and Ergodicity for Mckean-Vlasov SDEs
2) Liming Wu (Université Blaise Pascal - Clermont II and Harbin Institute of Technology):
Title: Functional and concentration inequalities for interacting particles systems and applications to McKean-Vlasov equation.
3) Xicheng Zhang (Beijing Institute of Technology):
Title: Propagation of chaos for moderately interacting particle systems related to singular kinetic McKean-Vlasov SDEs
4) Peter Pickl(Universität Tübingen, Germany)
Title: Derivation of effective equations for interacting many particle system
