Title: Mathematics of the Bose-Einstein condensation
Abstract: While the ideal Bose gas has been well understood since the pioneering work of Bose and Einstein in 1924, the rigorous mathematical understanding of the Bose-Einstein phase transition for interacting Bose gases remains a major challenge. I will present a systematic approach to investigating the Bose-Einstein condensation in the mean-field regime, utilizing quantum de Finetti theorems as a key tool in the analysis.

Title: Semiclassical estimates for Schrödinger operators
Abstract: In the study of Schrödinger operators, semiclassical estimates are essential for understanding the behavior of large quantum particles. This provides a remarkable illustration of the correspondence principle, which says that quantum systems should resemble their classical counterparts in the limit of a small Planck constant. In this talk, I will present rigorous estimates in this direction, with a focus on the Lieb-Thirring inequalities and their applications to the stability of matter, as well as the structure of large atoms and molecules.
