Abstract:

We review Bridgeland-Smith's correspondence between spaces of stability conditions and of quadratic differentials from Riemann surfaces. In particular, we introduce decorated marked surfaces to study the associated Calabi-Yau-3 categories and prove that such spaces are simply connected.
