Abstract. We discuss a potential candidate for the notion of stability for generalized holomorphic vector bundles in generalized Kahler geometry. We will give an introduction to generalized K\"ahler geometry and the corresponding notion of generalized holomorphic vector bundles with some explicit examples, discuss the notion of stability and a version of Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence in this context.
