Abstract: In Gromov-Witten theory, absolute Gromov-Witten invariants can be determined by relative Gromov-Witten invariants via degeneration formula, and D.Maulik and R.Pandharipande have showed in their paper (arXiv:0412503v2) that relative Gromov-Witten invariants are also completely determined by absolute Gromov-Witten invariants. In this talk, I will talk about their approach.
