Abstract: 

Schwarz lemma is a fundamental tool in complex analysis and geometry. In this talk, we will discuss the equality case of the Schwarz lemmas of Yau, Royden and Tosatti. Then we will talk about an extension of Schwarz lemma to almost Hermitian setting in terms of holomorphic sectional curvatures. This talk is based on a joint work with Haojie Chen.

Xiaolan Nie is currently a lecturer at Zhejiang Normal University. She obtained her Ph.D. at University of Minnesota in 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Jiaping Wang. Her research interests lie in complex geometry and geometric analysis.
