BRIEF BIO

Ivan Cheltsov works in the field of birational geometry. He recieved BSc in Math from Moscow State University (Russia) in 1995. In 2000, he obtained PhD from Johns Hopkins University (USA) under the supervision of Slava Shokurov. Since 2004, Ivan works at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland).
