Abstract: In their paper "Convexity of the k-energy on the space of kahler metrics", Berman and Berndtsson established the convexity of k-energy functional along weak geodesics via local positivity of weak solutions to the homogenuous Monge-Ampere equation on a product domain and local Bergman kernel asymptotics. In this talk, we will go over their proof.
