Abstract: To have a closer look at the moduli space of test configurations, we are naturally led to consider the concept of test configurations with fixed components. Then by the variation formula for the Donaldson-Futaki invariant on the moduli space of test configurations, we obtain a clear picture of the zero locus for the Donaldson-Futaki invariant under K-semistabilty constraints.
