Abstract: In this talk, we consider the nonlinear wave equation in inhomogeneous media, which is modeled by the variable coefficient wave equation. By taking the periodic solutions as a breakthrough, we study the dynamical complexity of its solutions and find the essentially different dynamical behaviors for the spatially inhomogeneous wave equation.
报告人简介：冀书关，东北师范大学教授，数学与统计学院院长，国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划。主要从事微分方程与动力系统方面的研究。
