Abstract: Heegaard splitting is a basic method to construct 3-manifolds. In this talk, I will introduce some well known results and furures on Heegaard splittings.

主讲人简介:邱瑞锋， 华东师范大学教授，1993年于吉林大学数学系获博士学位，主要从事三维流形理论研究，在三维流形组合拓扑及纽结理论等方面有若干贡献，这其中包括三维流形Heegaard分解理论中的Gordon猜想的证明及纽结洞数理论中的Moriah-Morimoto猜想反例的构造等。
