Workshop on Poisson Geometry, Stokes Automorphisms and Cluster Algebras
活动时间: 从 2019-12-10 09:00 到 2019-12-12 18:00
场地: Lecture Hall, Jiayibing Building, Jingchunyuan 82, BICMR
Description:
A solution of a system of differential equations with an irregular singularity may fail to have a well-defined asymptotic expansion at the singularity. Instead, there is a collection of angular sectors surrounding the singular point, in each of which an asymptotic expansion is defined. The existence of such sectorial asymptotic expansions is called the “Stokes phenomenon”.
The Stokes phenomenon has found significant applications in different areas of mathematics and physics. In particular, the geometric nature of the irregular Riemann–Hilbert map, from the moduli space of differential equations (“de Rham moduli space”) to the space of Stokes matrices (“Betti moduli space”), has been intensively studied. Moreover, the crucial role of the Stokes phenomenon in the study of representation theory, Poisson geometry and integrable systems is only beginning to emerge.
The goal of the workshop is to bring together several specialists in Stokes phenomenon, Poisson geometry and representation theory, to exchange ideas and perspectives. The workshop consists of two mini course (three hours for each) and several regular talks.
