Abstract:
The TQC seminar will be a continuation of the 2011 summer school on TQC. The focus in summer 2012 will not be on lectures, but rather on the training of young people to do research in TQC, and collaborative research projects among senior/junior people and students.

Topics include:
1. Construction of topological quantum computers
2. Geometric description of fractional quantum Hall states
3. Dirac/Majorana type equations for anyons and index theorems
