To enhance academic exchange on the latest findings of Algebra and the related areas, we are holding “the third symposium for Groups, Algebra and related topics” at Beijing International Centre for Mathematical Research from 10th June 2013 to 16th June 2013, during the 50th anniversary of the “Journal of Algebra” establishment. The meeting will cover various fields of Algebra studies, with specific focus on the Group topic. The first meeting was held by Professor Xuefu Duan of Peking University in Peking University in 1984; the second meeting was held jiontly by Professor Shengming Shi of Capital Normal University and Professor Jiping Zhang of Peking University in Capital Normal University in 1996.
