Abstract: 

In a joint work with Omri Sarig we describe generic points for translation flows on the infinite staircase with rotation numbers of bounded type. As a corollary we characterize the numbers r of bounded type for which discrepancy of rotation by the angler is uniformly distributed on the integers.
