Cantor sets naturally arise as invariant sets in most dynamical systems. Their geometry and intersections play a fundamental role in numerous problems in dynamical systems, particularly in understanding how dynamics change under small perturbations. While the structure of Cantor sets is well understood in one dimension, their geometry in higher dimensions remains poorly understood. In this lecture, I will present recent advances on stable intersections of Cantor sets in arbitrary dimensions, extending the celebrated work of Moreira and Yoccoz in dimension one. This is joint work with Mojtaba Zareh Bidaki.
