Abstract: We consider Thermodynamic Formalism for sub-shifts of finite type and present some results for the case where the temperature goes to zero. Results for the zero temperature case could be separated in two groups: properties of limits and selection. Some properties are well known as well as their connections with Ergodic Optimization (for example: any zero temperature limit of an equilibrium probability is a maximizing probability in Ergodic Optimization). On the other hand, there exist some open problems concerning selection (for example: does the zero temperature limit of eigen-functions always exist?). We propose also to present some recent results and open problems concerning selection for perturbed potentials.
