Time: November 18 - December 7, 2022
Venue: Online
Abstract:
Condensed mathematics is a new theory recently developed by Clausen-Scholze/Barwick-Haine. It is a new categorical framework to work with topological data. I will discuss the basics of the theory, and its applications to analytic geometry, following Clausen-Scholze. This can be viewed as a short course on homological algebra, with prerequisite no more than basic topology and algebra.
