Abstract:

K3 surface is an important geometric object and many interactions of different areas are built on it. In this mini-course, we will give an introduction to the beautiful theory of moduli spaces of K3 surface. We will try to cover the following topics:

(1)the basic invariants of a K3 surface.

(2)Hodge theory of a K3 surface.

(3)the construction of moduli spaces $\mathscr{F}_g$ of quasi-polarised K3 surfaces of genus $g$ and $\mathscr{F}_g$ can be realised as a locally symmetric space of Type IV.
