In this mini-course, I will introduce the local theta correspondence. I will follow the notes <Notes on the local theta correspondence> by Stephen S. Kudla.
The general idea of local theta correspondence is to construct a correspondence of irreducible representations of two reductive groups (reductive dual pair) systematically.
