Speaker(s): Nicolas Burq (Université Paris Sud)
Time: February 26 - March 12, 2019
Venue: Room 77201, Jingchunyuan 78, BICMR
Date: Feb 26, Feb 28, March 1, March 5, March 7, March 12
Time: 19:00-21:00
The purpose of this course is to give an introduction to the modern tools of Harmonic analysis and Partial Differential Equations and to present some classical results in this field. I will start with an introduction to pseudo-differential calculus (symbolic calculus, Sobolev continuity) and the basic results of the theory: elliptic regularity and propagation of singularities. Then I will turn to some classical results: De Giorgi Holder regularity for elliptic equations, Taylor-Rauch exact controllability result for wave equations and Strichartz dispersive estimates for Schrodinger equations.
