Abstract: We will study the paper of Patrick Clarke, in which he introduces a new method of constructing the mirror of a complete intersection in a toric variety, by using a duality construction for toric Landau-Ginzburg models, via the sigma/Landau-Ginzburg model correspondence. All the other known constructions of Batyrev-Borisov, Berglund-Hubsch, Givental and Hori-Vafa turned out to be special cases of this construction, and it can be done in more general situations and provides partial resotuions when the above constructions give a singular mirror. We will also study an example of elliptic curves in (P^1)^2.
