Abstract:
I will discuss a simple general construction that converts a suitable Hamiltonian diffeomorphism of a Liouville domain into another Liouville domain of dimension two higher, and discuss some examples where this construction yields domains with interesting behavior with respect to periodic Reeb orbits on their boundaries and/or Banach-Mazur distances.
