Abstract: I will give the basic kownledge of Eynard-Orantin invariants of P^{1} without matrix models, and introduce that stationary Gromov-Witten invariants of P^1 arise as the Eynard-Orantin invariants of the spectral curve x = z+1/z, y=ln z for genus 0 and 1 (following the work of Norbury and Scott)
