Abstract:
I discuss questions that arise upon studying the moduli space of a family of quotient Calabi-Yau threefolds. A consistent set of higher-genus topological string free energies can only be obtained if we incorporate recent results, from Katz-Klemm-Schimannek-Sharpe, for topological strings probing noncommutative resolutions. This leads us to a striking new example of a double-mirror pair. Based on 2504.06147 with Johanna Knapp.
