Title: Riemann-Hilbert problem, Birkhoff's problem and integrable deformation

Abstract: I will introduce the related knowledge of Riemann-Hilbert problem and Birkhoff's problem involving isomonodromic deformation. This talk is based on C. Sabbah's book,"Isomonodromic deformations and Frobenius manifolds". More and more evidence shows that such problems have intimate relation with topological field theories (A and B model), for example, in Givental's work, and in $tt^*$ geometry.
