Abstract:
Giroux correspondence relates contact structures on three-manifolds with open books, from which we can define a contact invariant from Heegaard Floer homology of the corresponding fibred knots. In appearance of $2pi$ Giroux torsion, the invariant vanishes. I would like to talk about some background of this topic for future research.
