The computation of Gromov-Witten invariants of quintic 3-fold plays an important role in the Gromov-Witten theory. In this talk, I will sketch the algorithm given by Maulik and Pandharipande, which can be used to determine Gromov-Witten invariants (in all genera) of quintic 3-fold. Inspired by Gathmann's proposal, Maulik and Pandharipande also gave a conjecture, which gives a new possible way to determine those invariants and may simplify their original algorithm. I will introduce their conjecture and show that their conjecture is true for genus g=2,3.
