Abstract:
First, I will present Polishchuk-Vaintrob construction of the virtual class of FJRW theory, with the main focus on chain polynomials. Then, I will explain how to reinterpret this formalism in a more natural way to do explicit computations. Finally, I will present a higher-genus theorem and its relation with integrable hierarchies.
