Title: Remarks on virtual pullbacks
Venue: Jiayibing Building 82J12, BICMR
Time: Tuesday, Oct. 20 , 14:00-16:00
Speaker: Feng Qu (BICMR)
Abstract: Virtual pullbacks introduced by C. Manolache are generalized Gysin pullbacks, and can be used to streamline arguments involving virtual fundamental classes in Gromov-Witten theory.
In this talk, I will explain the mechanism of virtual pullbacks, then draw several remarks about extensions and generalizations related to Quantum K theory and virtual classes of Artin stacks.
