Abstract. The \bar\partial_f Neumann problem is a attempt to give an analytical description of singularity theory. By the theory of several complex variables, it builds connection between singularity theory and Taylor's multivariable spectra. Witten's deformation appears naturally here and can be used to recover the residue pairing for isolated singularties.
