Abstract: Let $(X,\omega)$ be a compact symplectic manifold with a compact Lie group $G$ Hamiltonian action. We use L^2 moduli space of (augmented) symplectic vortex equations to quantize the Kirwan morphism $\kappa: H^\ast_G(X)\toH^\ast(X//G) $.
