Title: Degeneration technique in Gromov-Witten theory

Abstract:
The degeneration technique is one of the most important technique in Gromov-Witten theory. The essential idea here is to understand the change of Gromov-Witten invariants under some symplectic surgeries.

In this talk, I will talk about the degeneration formula of Gromov-Witten invariant and its application such as blow-up correspondence, comparison theorem and so on.
