Title for talk：Dimension Formula for the Affine Deligne-Lusztig Variety

Abstract for talk: The study of certain union X(μ, b) of affine Deligne–Lusztig varieties in the affine flag varieties arose from the study of Shimura varieties with Iwahori level structure. The dimension of X(μ, b) for general μ is still unknown. My joint work with Prof. Xuhua He gives an explicit formula for X(μ, b) for sufficiently large μ. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to the theory of affine Deligne-Lusztig variety and survey our work on dimension problem.
