Abstract: I will give basics on topological cyclic homology.I will first introduce the background on stable homotopy theory and equivalent homotopy theory. Then give an account on various constructions on cyclotomic spectra, and in particular the cyclotomic structure on topological Hochschild homology, which gives the topological cyclic homology.
