In this talk, I will introduce some recent developments in quantum singular value transformation (QSVT), a powerful technique for designing quantum algorithms. I will present several general frameworks for QSVT, including the standard QSVT, Hamiltonian SVT, generalized quantum signal processing (GQSP), and our recent QSVT framework. Finally, I will discuss a few open research problems.
