Abstract: The hyperkaehler varieties, also known as irreducible holomorphic symplectic varieties, are one of the fundamental building blocks of varieties with trivial canonical bundle, or equivalently, with Ricci flat curvature. We are interested in the intersection theory of such projective hyperkaehler varieties, namely some remarkable phenomena of their Chow rings. After recalling the basics of intersection theory and some background concerning hyperkaehler varieties, three conjectures in this domain will be addressed. For each of them, I will explain some known cases with sketched proofs, mention its variants and raise some open questions for future research.
