摘要：In this talk, we apply the works of Boecherer and Schulze-Pillot on the Yoshida lift to evaluate asymptotically the variance of the Linnik distribution, which involves the spherical harmonics and makes use of the Jacquet-Langlands correspondence. We show the variance is proportional to the scalar product twisted by certain critical L-values.
