State-Dependent Delays Equations and Applications

Abstract:
In this talk, we will introduce the state-dependent delays equations, and some important results and models that may be described by these equations. Finally, we will present some applications of these equations.

Full professor at State University of Campinas, President of the Brazilian Mathematical Society (2023-2027), President of the Mathematical Union of Latin American and the Caribbean (2025-2028), Winner of the prize "For Women in Sciences" from L'Oréal, UNESCO and the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (2019), winner of the prize "Science, She Says" awarded by the Ministry of Foreign and Affairs of Italy (2023). She was an affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and The World Academy of Sciences (2018-2022).
