Abstract:
Over the past century, the theories established by mathematicians have significantly propelled technological advancements, playing a pivotal role especially in modern technologies such as the internet, digital communication, medical imaging, artificial intelligence, and large-scale computing. Scientists like Fourier, Turing, Shannon, Radon, Feng Kang, and others have been key drivers behind these miracles. This lecture will elucidate the crucial role of mathematics in technological innovation and the new requirements for scientific and technological talents in the context of the country's future high-quality development.
