Accommodations and Other Information

1. Hotels

Beijing Friendship Hotel is located at 1 Zhongguancun South Street. The hotel consists of several buildings inside a huge garden. Our reservation is at Yibin Building. The taxi driver should be able to drop you at the entrance of Yibin Building.

Direction from Beijing Friendship Hotel to Ziyuan Building: Walk north along Zhongguancun Street, across the overpass of 4th Ring Road, and Ziyuan Buidling is the second tall building on your left. Estimated walking time: 25 min.

Zhongguanyuan Global Village PKU is a new hotel next to Peking University. Our reservation is at Building 9, the apartment building for professional experts visiting Peking University. Due to construction, the entrance is only accessible from Chengfu Road.

Direction from Zhongguanyuan Hotel to Ziyuan Building: from the entrance at Chengfu Road, turn left to walk on Chengfu Road. Make a left turn to Zhongguancun Street and continue until the second pedestrian overpass. Ziyuan Building is at the end of the second pedestrian overpass on the right side. Estimated walking time: 10 min.

2. Registration

Conference takes place at Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research. Our meeting room is at 1328 Ziyuan Building. If you did not get your conference bag in the hotel, please pick up at Ziyuan Bldg on July 18.

3. Meals

Meals are provided according to the following plan.

Breakfast is covered at your hotel.

Conference lunch is served inside Ziyuan Bldg. Reservation is taken at the beginning of each morning except July 20.

Dinner On July 17, people stayed in Friendship Hotel will have dinner at a designated restaurant. Please gather in the lobby at 6pm to be lead by Naihuan Jing to the restaurant. Participants staying at Zhongguanyuan Hotel will have dinner at a restaurant organized by Lizhong Wang.

Banquet is on July 18. Dinner on July 19 and 21 are served in Shao Yuan insider Peking University.

The conference will not organize dinner on July 20 due to sightseeing (see below).

4. Sightseeing

We will organize a tour to Badaling Great Wall and the Ming Tomb on July 20. The conference will provide free transportation to invited speakers. We expect that there are seats available for other participants as well. Charter bus leaves at 7:30 am on July 20 from Friendship Hotel and then picks up other participants at Ziyuan Bldg at 7:40 am.

We will pack lunch and pay admission fees for invited speakers. Other participants can get lunch at various fast food restaurants at Badaling Great Wall. Admission fees are estimated as 150 yuans (Great Wall RMB 80; Ming Tomb RMB70).

5. Other Information

Please do not put charges (meals etc) to your hotel room. Internet access will be provided in Ziyuan Building. Your hotel may charge a fee to use the internet, please check with the front desk. Zhongguanyuan Hotel provides free internet access. If you want to use the phone in your hotel room, please make a deposit at the front desk to call outside.
