In this series of lectures we introduce the recent results (joint with Zaher Hani) that establish the rigorous mathematical foundation of wave turbulence theory. This includes derivation of wave kinetic equation, justification of propagation of chaos, and calculation of the joint densities.

In the first lecture we will provide an overview of this subject, the historical context and describe the main results. In the next three lectures we will go over the main ideas in the proof.
