Global Well-posedness of Non-isentropic Navier-Stokes Equation with BV Initial Data

I will talk about some recent results about the non-isentropic Navier-Stokes equation with BV initial data. The key ingredient is the short-time Green’s function, which is constructed by the wave-train method (based on Laplace transform). The short-time Green’s function plays an important role in the establish of the well-posedness and regularity in the local-in-time weak solution. Then, by combining the short-time and the long-time Green’s function, one obtains the global well-posedness and large-time behavior of the weak solution.
