This is a series of talks about recent progress in Kahler geometry by using non-Archimedean methods. We focus on Chi Li's paper: Geodesic rays and stability in the cscK problem, which builds on the work of Berman-Boucksom-Jonsson. In the first talk we will introduce the basic tools, such as pluripotential theory, non-Archimedean potential; and introduce the analytic criterion of canonical metrics in Kahler geometry.
