Abstract: In this talk, we introduce an Adams type inequality in the whole four dimensional Euclidean space. We also consider a class of elliptic partial differential equations related to that inequality. Existence of weak solutions and multiplicity results are proved via the mountain-pass theorem and the Ekeland's variational principle.
